This study thus aims to evaluate the model implemented in French-speaking Switzerland for the Health Specialist Maturity Certificate and the complementary health modules.
More specifically, it aims in particular to answer the following questions:
- Does the system in place, in particular the pre-admission, respectively pre-registration, to the MCsa, make it possible to limit the risk of a student completing a year “at a loss”. In other words, does it prevent students from starting studies that they will not continue?
- Does the system put in place, in particular the pre-admission/pre-enrolment in MCsa, make it possible to keep students in the health system, even in the event of failure to comply with the regulations in the bachelor’s programme,
people who were destined for a regulated industry? - Does the system put in place, in particular the pre-admission/pre-enrolment in MCsa, ensure a fair balance in the cohorts of students admitted to the health bachelor’s programme, between the
Holders of a specialized maturity, a professional maturity or a gymnasium maturity or equivalent qualifications.
