The cantonal law on the care network and home care (LSDom) (K 1 06) of 26 June 2008 aims to preserve the autonomy of people whose state of health and/or dependency is poor.
Its evaluation provides an overview of the reasons for the introduction of the LSDom. It analyses the roles and responsibilities of the main actors and the functioning of the network and studies its achievements. Finally, it evaluates the effects of the system put in place.
This evaluation led to the preparation by the Council of the State of Geneva of a new draft law on the organization of the care network for home care (LORSDom) (K 1 04), in which Strategos is mentioned.
